If you’ve ever had the opportunity to see a Somali cat in person before, consider yourself lucky. These gorgeous cats are technically a long-haired version of the striking Abyssinian, and there’s a lot to love about these rare cats. For a purrfect trio of Somali cats out of the Netherlands, they’ve won the hearts of many cat lovers worldwide thanks to their stunning good looks and adorable poses. I caught up with their owner hoping to feature them on the website, and thankfully they agreed.

So, everyone, please meet Simon, Bram, and Harun—AKA Somaliamore!

Simon

Bram

Harun

How did you choose their names?

Simon was born on Christmas day. He was named by the breeder after one of the brothers of Jesus.
Bram was named after the father of Simon, we thought these two names matched well together.
Harun was named by his breeder, she gave us the opportunity to choose one out of a few names, and we liked Harun.

How do they get along with one another?

These three Somali cats form a very close family. They love to cuddle, nap, and play together.

Simon is very curious and adventurous. He is the leader of the pack.
Bram is very mellow and sweet, our cuddly bear.
Harun is a happy and playful cat. When he is not asleep, he tries to tempt you to play with him.

What are their favorite hobbies?

Simon loves to take walks with me outside🐾
Bram’s favorite hobby is eating, any time of the day😋
Harun loves to play fetch. He can keep that up all evening🐭

What’s something special you’d like for people to know about them?

Somali cats are very social and affectionate. They need people and other cats around them, preferably of their own kind. That is why they make such a marvelous family.

I’d like to give a special “thank you” to Simon, Bram, and Harun’s owner for allowing me to share their story and cute photos with all of the Cattitude Daily readers. Can’t get enough of this cute trio? Check out SomaliaMore on Instagram!
