You can use grids or part of a playpen to help bunny-proof your garden and block off any gaps that your rabbit may be able to fit through. Make sure to block off any plants that are toxic or that you don’t want your buns to nibble on too.
For larger gardens that you may not be able to bun-proof easily, you could use a playpen to then section off an area for your rabbits to play while supervised so you know they are safe.
Provide safe places so they can hide and if you are going to be outdoors for a while, you can take their litter tray and water bowl outside too and any toys to keep them occupied.
If your rabbits aren’t in a secure run and are free roaming the garden or in a playpen, please make sure they are supervised at all times and safe from any predators.
During the higher temperatures, keep indoor rabbits inside in a cool room and make sure outdoor rabbits have plenty of shade so they can be away from the sun.
