We were very happy to see Tangerine the Kelpie back at day care today. Tangy has been bravely fighting tumours these last couple of months with several surgeries and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Tangy is wearing her rash shirt to protect her large surgical scars. She has been given the all clear to return to the farm to be with her mates each Monday during her therapy. Welcome back Tangy it’s so good to have you back.

Miss Violet is spotted fast asleep in the middle of the field. This is her second or third time this morning. We had an appointment with the vet after this conversation this evening and the vet is not concerned about her deep sleeping. It is normal given her neurological condition and the fact she has partial deafness. We still need to return for further testing a little later on to make sure nothing is changing with her condition. We think it’s a sweet part of Miss Violet, but it can cause some drama every now and then when she falls asleep deep in the washing and no one can find her.

Lunchtime the big four pups join us. We all agree they’re the most instinctively well behaved puppies we’ve met so far. Gentle, quiet, easy going. Amazing! Just going to be enormous is all 😆

P.S Miss Red was not at day care today. She was feeling not herself and had a vet appointment this evening. She’s now on antibiotics. She’s fine, this is just a part of her immune condition.
